Deconstruct the constructed It’s a curse upon my eyes The enormous structures Mounted over my head, They block my sight. I see no moon, Nor the sunlight The beautiful clouds, fleeting They pass right above me, Yet I am blind. Blinded by dull buildings, I long for empty space For the sky, where it sees me, And I press my eyes To every drifting cloud, To every feather passing by. I want to see the lightning It does not frighten me. What does, is the structure nearby, Made for protection from rain. How funny- It has become the cause of pain. The rain, it healed me, These structures, made in vain. How deeply I long To feel the wind Unshaded, Untamed.
