think about all the seconds we could save,

perhaps a whole hour or two!

to do so many other things…
but then if we cease to please
o u r s e l v e s
by not saying
“thank you” -
civil discourse dies.
mass riots ensue in size,
the decline of western upsized,
civilization negatively supercharged

and the qualities thereof,

lessened, then lesser,

diminishment
when the simplest signal
of gratitude
