But Nevertheless. In spite of his long refined powers He cannot whitstand the things he cannot touch For The Malice never sleeps Nor does he ever dream A Parasite he is And The Pure he fears -Then suddenly by a unforseen chance, a dream of spring with fragments of warmth ignites my frozen soul. Blazing through my body like Cedar caught on fire Buring my veins, my skin and scorching my eyes Reviving what was dead As the ancient ice evaporates, my breath becomes clear And I regain my mind, body and soul Only to be terrified once again -My worst nightmare had not yet manifested. Pools of unfamiliar liquid had begun to take shape Suddenly my chest begins to ache Disoriented, with blistering eyes I search the darkened room All in vain For no mortal vision could penetrate the dark gloom In the midst of it all I hear a silent voice whispering: […Close your eyes. Use the lens of truth. For it reveals the hearts desire…] -And so, like possessed, I let the darkness take me.
