As humans, we dream We dream of a world filled with peace. But how can we get such a world if we keep fighting each other? We say we want peace, but then we keep letting greediness take over. We say we want peace, but then we keep looking down on others. We say we want peace, but is peace what we truly want? We say we want peace, but we keep contradicting that with our actions. We say we want peace, but do we even know what peace is? People keep confusing avoidance for peace, thinking that there not being conflict at the time is peace. But let me tell you what peace is: True peace involves resolution, understanding, and healing- not just silence or stillness. Peace is presence, not escape. It is power under control, clarity without force, and truth without fear. So I ask you: How can we claim we want peace, if we're not willing to become what peace requires?

What Peace Requires
This poem questions whether humanity truly wants peace, or just the idea of it. It reflects on how our actions often contradict our words and what real peace actually requires.
