Hey
I carefully looked through all our old memories together
Deep into the longest of nights
Those treasured ones
Once written so sweetly and kept on my iPhone
As I stared into that so familiar burning fireplace
Thinking of you all alone
And sent sweet blessings
Your way to embrace
With each lit ember
That reminded me
Of your beautiful face
So, look up into your night's sky
Today
Wherever you are
And as murmurations of Starlings
Begin to swoop and play
I know you're feeling old emotions
That you still hear way down
In your heart's deep ocean
And though our old life has expired and you now feel so tired
With my gift of second sight
I can see
An incredible one will soon appear ahead
For your invitation to a new form of loving happiness
Burns like a white summoning candle
And as you step into that invitations magic circle
At midnight
With no hesitation or rehearsal
A familiar feeling will soon begin
That you can handle
Deep within
Of twin souls intertwined together forever
Again
Through friendship
To relieve that aching pain
Bestowed by a divine power
Of why we were separated by the devastating
Enchantment of the Leviathan Hour
