Stanzas are a frame
On which meter is an outline
Imagery is the paint
For which words are the dye
Form casts an image
While rhythm casts the lighting
Rhyme scheme is the finish
Of the theme that I am citing
A blank page is the canvas
The poet brings it life
I’m not quite Bob Ross just yet
But there’s joy in this world I write
