shes fine" they said. Ignoring the red droplets That fall from her arms to the bathroom floor. "shes just quiet" they whispered while she screams in silence as the drip drip drip of red now pools below "she so clumsy" they laughed as she hid knuckles now bruised and pulled down sleeves over too scared skin. "shes just quirky" they said as she finished her final note. she sits on the bathroom floor. drip...drip...drip... she no longer hears them. the world has gone silent. as steady droplets of red now flow freely from wounds deeper than words. "I'm fine" she said as the world grew dim till all she hears is drip... drip... dri-- she fades away. She wakes hands shaking “It’s just a dream” she breathes She looks down at her writs The cuts now long faded silver slivers She smiles to herself and thinks “ of course it was a dream For I’m still here.”
