we are so eager to see the good in people,
we are so discouraged to find the bad,
we are so elated to be with a partner,
we are saddened when it isn't the right one,
we are so easy to give in to trust,
we are so hurt when this is broken,
we are made to say "yes" to that man on one knee,
we are burdened by others when we say no,
we are dragged by the soul to love that man,
We were happy when we finally found our inner peace with it,
and can finally breathe now he is off our chest.
