“To each their way” I spite sputter departing “home” “The New World!” They say “A new life!” Then how did she hold me the way I scorched the sky yearning to be held How did he know He answer the questions I urged the moon to answer Demanding an answer! How is it new? How so If all of it is familiar? I am greeted with “Welcome Home” Not “Welcome” I'm not discovering, yet continuing Resat in my nook They said “We’ll leave you be” “No please, come join me” I say “My home craves it’s warmth” WIth that a light reborn This soft, calm, but indomitable glow The light at the of the tunnel Yet no tunnel ever existed I merely opened my eyes Greeted with the warmth The love The joy the home I dreamt of The one I kept squinting at miniature distance They asked “how do you like your new home? It’s like I never left.
