How he grins smuggly while I talk to a friend.
His eyes gleaming, scheming, daydreams in his head.
The cat is invested,
For he wants his dreams to come true.
So he made a plan,
For me to be closer to you.
He has an accomplice,
A chatty little parrot.
He shows her his evidence,
On why us two should be together.
Little did he know,
That parrot spilt the tea.
I know his schemes,
I know his dreams.
And I'm sorry to say,
But he’ll never have his way.
For his dream is not shared
By the two lovebirds he tried to pair.
