I flirted once, with fire; perhaps I was a different man then, and still bold with the impulse of youth. The feral hunger of desire, has lured astray far better men; Beauty has long been fate's sharpest tooth. I danced once, with fire; though she walked in human form, with dark eyes hiding the inferno inside. And as her flames grew higher, destroying my world in a lustful storm; I never once even thought to hide I loved once, with fire; hot skin covering burning souls, two suns succumbing to shared gravity. Now, as I lie upon this funeral pyre, my immortal spirit gazes upon the blazing coals; and rejoices for the return to her brilliant insanity. I lived once, quiet and cold, harmless a liar. But when I died, I did it as an honest man, with fire.
