In the midst of winter Apricity warms me bright sun You are still there, aching, desire, in a gold-filled run Rest on me face soaked stray light deep angled snare Unzipped memories do you feel it heat our skin bare When the sky is thin too cold and the air in us is gray A little shaft of you circadian rhythms serotonin's ray As a deep fog of you breaks invincible, summer high, Stretching a light so soothing--close our eyes and sigh In a fire, I, surrounded by the dead of a wind dark ire Reach for me, coexist in the lowest low highest higher I choose your face, lights a path, in a black rent dower While ghosts moan & shiver, step in us bright shower.

Apricity Warms Me
In the midst of winter Apricity warms me bright sun You are still there, aching, desire, in a gold-filled run Rest on me face soaked stray light deep angled snare Unzipped memories do you feel it heat our skin bare When the sky is thin too cold and the air in us is gray A little shaft of you circadian rhythms serotonin's ray As a deep fog of you breaks invincible, summer high, Stretching a light so soothing--close our eyes and sigh In a fire, I, surrounded by the dead of a wind dark ire Reach for me, coexist in the lowest low highest higher I choose your face, lights a path, in a black rent dower While ghosts moan & shiver, step in us bright shower.
Sometimes I feel that random stray of sunlight strand of light soothe inside me and soak within a deep memory I am unaware, but it settles us, feeds us, breathes in us, and in the lonely end of winter, promises us a something new or else to come. Apricity
