Nietzsche stood beneath a sky without heaven, questioning the brave and the afraid. In Beyond Good and Evil, he traced comfort where courage decayed. One man drinks to blur the world’s unbearable weight. Another kneels in guilt, calling obedience fate. Wine and worship two narcotics of the soul. Not faith, but dependence, was the role. “Can you face life sober?” his eternal toll.
