Oh, fair-weathered friend Your absence still hurts Even through all the years The ache comes in spurts Oh, my fair-weathered friend We didnt grow apart Just sudden and abrupt Silent in your depart My fair-weathered friend Its as though I died No longer your friend Just my death implied Oh, my fair-weathered friend Im left with a question no answer afforded Drowning in depression Oh, fair-weathered friend Who has been long gone Not in memory As they have pressed on Long gone fair-weathered friend So many years have passed Left without knowledge Yet I have still surpassed My fair-weathered friend Whose silence was mean Leaving me in mourning Our friendship a crime scene Oh, my fair-weathered friend Your lesson i have learned A lesson I won't teach As no person has earned
