lost amidst the blue 'til i bumped into you. we saw the same moon, sang the same tune. you kissed my scars as i tucked flowers in jars, but my burnt-out star, you could only go so far. now stuck in rings, i’m saturn, i try to convince myself that i mattered. these old habits leave me bleeding, do you fear being needed or needing? those riverside walks and skipping rocks have me caught in lapis locks governed by standstill clocks. my stomach’s in knots, sick on forget-me-nots, and though it won’t quell me, i need you to tell me: was i too much or not enough? mm
