In time the familiar passed, And I would reminisce of The kind entrances, And of course the prepared arrivals There existed the calm Before the generational swell, And came was the altering, But not into old fabric The parade is handed over Skipping longer in tenure, And the distant barter speaks of before, Now, not curious as when When falls flat in timing the oceans Passenger to a passing instead And from no change, a missing Missed in the moment shed The skin is upon the light, Exchanging muted darkness, And rare is the ancestors sound Taken was wandering, in a new, muting of audience

Wandering Across a Fence
