Save me from this torment, my sweet summer child who I cradle ever so carefully in my fragile arms. A star in an empty night sky, a saint amongst a sea of heathens, cleanse me of corruption – bring me closer to the light. Wash the blood from my face and the guilt from my hands. Make me into someone new who can do no wrong. I’ll pledge my whole life to you, the one who saves me from the dark, who holds a blinding light so bright so the dark fades from my vision.

Salvation: Repentance
Save me from this torment, my sweet summer child who I cradle ever so carefully in my fragile arms. A star in an empty night sky, a saint amongst a sea of heathens, cleanse me of corruption – bring me closer to the light. Wash the blood from my face and the guilt from my hands. Make me into someone new who can do no wrong. I’ll pledge my whole life to you, the one who saves me from the dark, who holds a blinding light so bright so the dark fades from my vision.
