—exploring the boundaries of almost I have learned the discipline of looking as light rests on her face without staying, like a young fawn paused mid-step, knowing the water is near. Her throbbing pulse whispers first in the silence between us, a dream rising before permission is named. I have learned the discipline of looking Patiently—we surrender, waiting for breath to finally agree with breath, for wanting to learn the caress of yes without voice, as light rests on her face without staying, Time loosens its caress; the pain of our restraint becomes unbearable, arousal teaching us the power of almost, of not yet, like a young fawn paused mid-step, knowing the water is near.
