I woke up to an empty space, A friend, a soul, a heart that's gone, a painful place. Memories of laughter, of times we've shared, Flood my mind, a bittersweet air. I hold this photo, a moment in time, We, dressed in black, our spirits aligned. Today, I'll wear black to say goodbye, To lay you to rest, to watch you pass by. The truth is hard to bear, That I'll never see you again, never share. I'll miss you dear friend, more than words can say, Rest in peace, dear friend, may you find your way.

Lost from me forever
I woke up to an empty space, A friend, a soul, a heart that's gone, a painful place. Memories of laughter, of times we've shared, Flood my mind, a bittersweet air. I hold this photo, a moment in time, We, dressed in black, our spirits aligned. Today, I'll wear black to say goodbye, To lay you to rest, to watch you pass by. The truth is hard to bear, That I'll never see you again, never share. I'll miss you dear friend, more than words can say, Rest in peace, dear friend, may you find your way.
To my dear Clifford who lost his friend ( Grandma). I understand how it feels to lose someone unexpectedly.
