time. so fragile, slipping away. each second lasts only a moment, vanishing immediately. how do you make it stay? it’s not possible, but i refuse to let my memories into the abyss. clutching them between my white-knuckled fingers, they begin to disintegrate, becoming nothing. particles fly, all different colors, shapes, sizes, flung about in a hurricane of hurt. twirling, spinning, thrashing, whipping, lashing. too fast, almost dizzying. collapsing, falling, and finally, stopping.
