For the first time in a long time I love the winter. The way they sparkle, not the snowflakes, but your eyes, makes me fall in love all over again. Your footprints next to mine makes the silent chill less lonely, your hand clasped in mine makes the world less frozen. Putting my hands in your pockets just so I can hold them uninterrupted by the thick gloves that adorn them, and walking inside afterwards to a warm embrace that melts my heart. When the crunch of the snow underfoot isn't the only sound able to be heard, there's laughter that bubbles in your chest and out of your lips too. Bouncing on the soles of your feet, the sheer joy that precedes you, how can I hold disdain for any of your happiness? The cold is incomparable to the warmth that blossoms inside my chest in the mid of this winter. If it kept on snowing forever, I think I wouldn't mind if I got to pull you closer- if I was with you.
