As I sail a boat To the never-ending odyssey I wonder those I left behind. I convince myself It's for the sake of I. The journey will show What I truly want Who I truly am. I'm not Odysseus I never was, I never am. Implore to God to show the seas Where the weather is lost Shall guide the adrift. It's only been a week Since I started this journey O, I wish to come back already. The fishes is my only company But I too have to replenish. I wait for the bait Like forever To fuel my hunger I only drank a cup of water— It won't last long. It's the never-ending cycle Of day and night. The migraine and nausea from the sun Dehydration and sunburn. The coldness of the air Is unbearable And the idea of threat Anytime I row. At last I saw a land I smiled as the boat sails by For this voyage is done.
