This elegant piece is a unique approach to Plato's Forms. I like the metaphor of beauty being the result of all things (i.e. the water that grows the plant is as much its beauty as the plant's flower) and the line "Beauty's not a seraph/because Beauty simply is" seems to advocate a pantheistic perspective, which is a great literary device.

It's straightforward presentation even allows me to look past the kitschy depiction of the knight and maiden and to root for their love.
