I confessed to the devil, the only one who listened. I was just an empty vessel, trapped in a dark, icy prison. Hidden under shadow's veil, He waited for my soul to fail, Deceiving me he's full of sorrow, In rivers of tears he made me follow. With eyes deeper than the Styx, Taste of nectar on his lips, Perfect golden curls of hair, Carried me through his dark lair. Lost myself in voices sweet, A mirage I never felt before, As if at last I was complete, Locked behind the hidden door.

Empty Vessel
I confessed to the devil, the only one who listened. I was just an empty vessel, trapped in a dark, icy prison. Hidden under shadow's veil, He waited for my soul to fail, Deceiving me he's full of sorrow, In rivers of tears he made me follow. With eyes deeper than the Styx, Taste of nectar on his lips, Perfect golden curls of hair, Carried me through his dark lair. Lost myself in voices sweet, A mirage I never felt before, As if at last I was complete, Locked behind the hidden door.
