You left me with my headphones So I wouldn’t hear you snore You left me with my hands folded Standing at the door You left me with my butterscotch That was wrapped in plastic squares You left me with my favorite socks The ones with matching pairs You left me with my dignity But, left me hollow to the core Still, I had to set you free So you could spread your wings and soar
