I do like the poem for the meaning but if I was to be a little critical…?

The poem feels a little ‘safe’? A flower dancing in the wind, bent but not broken - they’re very standard images. Maybe describe not just that the flower is brave but why? Is it the roots that are clinging with their fingernails to the earth fighting for its life?
