We were hiding in the Seattle Delta No one behind, no one to look A cathedral ruin, ghosts roaming We were trapped, entangled between the webs Their legs glistening like fluorescent lights Your arms outstretched Mine always a bit out of reach Waiting to finally touch Maybe on a train a year from now On a long car ride, too many eyes They stretch and stretch Tunnel vision, portals closing Your fingertips, puncture wounds Caught between 2 time zones At sundown on a Seattle rooftop.

Cloud symmetry in late September
We were hiding in the Seattle Delta No one behind, no one to look A cathedral ruin, ghosts roaming We were trapped, entangled between the webs Their legs glistening like fluorescent lights Your arms outstretched Mine always a bit out of reach Waiting to finally touch Maybe on a train a year from now On a long car ride, too many eyes They stretch and stretch Tunnel vision, portals closing Your fingertips, puncture wounds Caught between 2 time zones At sundown on a Seattle rooftop.
