”I know how you feel” No you don’t. You don’t. Yeah sure Losing a grandparent hurts Losing a pet shatters something. I’m not saying it doesn’t. But I lost my mother. My mom. The person who made me, named me. The one who knew my voice before I did. I was fourteen. Fourteen and suddenly the world opened a hole in my heart. A hole nothing can fill. So don’t line up your grief next to mine. Like they weight the same. Don’t compare a goodbye you were prepared for To a sentence I was never agreed upon. Don’t tell me about your ******* dog, When I’m speaking of the women who made me. Who was supposed to watch me grown up. This isn’t a competition, But it isn’t the same **** thing either. So if you don’t understand, It’s fine. Just don’t pretend you do.

This is an angry rant. Grief is grief and I know we shouldn’t compare nor undermined others.
