Shadows flicker in the darkness
Like waiting for life after death and
Fingers reach but no one there
Just emptiness in the dark night and
My heart beats fast I'm a little scared
In this dark place unprepared
But then a thought a voice speaks
The dark won't last before the lark
The sun will rise and chase the dark night
And fill the world with the Lord's sun light.
