They… they’re the one who ruined me. They saw my forced smile and brushed it off like it meant nothing at all. And when they said, “The brightest smile hides the deepest pain,” I wondered— where were they when I smiled? Even if my smile was fake, it lit up someone’s world. I’ll never know that someone— but that someone will always know me. That someone will know me more deeply than I know myself. No matter how ruined I am, the one called someone will still admire me. And will say: “Don’t force yourself to smile when you don’t want to.” “Cry as much as you need.” “Whenever you want. Wherever you want.” If they won’t— someone will.
