When you find someone to care for You give them all they want and more When you meet someone and you’re alone You turn them into your new home You patch up their walls, Mending the cracks in the halls. You do the best you can afford, Hoping for a home as your reward. And there you are, happy with your home You feel safe with a castle to roam But then a subtle change, a shift And suddenly your someone begins to drift Now here you are, far from those days You tried, but couldn’t make them stay Now here you are, once more alone Looking for houses, missing your home.

Houses
When you find someone to care for You give them all they want and more When you meet someone and you’re alone You turn them into your new home You patch up their walls, Mending the cracks in the halls. You do the best you can afford, Hoping for a home as your reward. And there you are, happy with your home You feel safe with a castle to roam But then a subtle change, a shift And suddenly your someone begins to drift Now here you are, far from those days You tried, but couldn’t make them stay Now here you are, once more alone Looking for houses, missing your home.
