It's funny how someone who once seemed so attractive can suddenly look ugly like a mangy dumpster dog homeless and begging for what's easy. The once sweet twangy voice now sounds like an angle grinder sharpening the tool you'll use to pierce the next heart. Hair that once seemed full and flowing now looks scraggly and matted like an abandoned bird's next lying empty on the ground. Eyes which once looked dreamy like a blue lagoon now appear dead and lifeless like a deflated Happy Birthday balloon. The charm once magnetic and enveloping now seems pathetic and fake like the pitch of a snake oil salesman. The fantasies that once flowed unencumbered like a raging river have rolled away like tumbleweed staggering down a dusty dirt road. That intense obsession once so bold and real for you has now been graciously embraced by someone new receiving it like the winner of a Powerball Lottery ticket.
