Are read— each and every word.
Legacies are forgotten
Left on the dusty bookshelf.
People will mourn, and
New lives are born.
And soon everyone
Won't remember anymore.
Time will stop
For the last person
Who will walk this earth
Carrying the guilt
Of the last storyteller.
