Maybe I never liked you — I was only fascinated by the idea of ‘us’ I kept building in my mind. To be honest, if the universe ever placed you in my hands, I would return you. I am not ready to nurse a shattered heart. So I watch from a distance — like a tired face refusing rest — because I no longer feel anything.

The idea of you
Maybe I never liked you — I was only fascinated by the idea of ‘us’ I kept building in my mind. To be honest, if the universe ever placed you in my hands, I would return you. I am not ready to nurse a shattered heart. So I watch from a distance — like a tired face refusing rest — because I no longer feel anything.
