Say my name in your sleep, Because yours is the only one I whisper in the mornings when the sun is still asleep, At nights, when the stars peek out to say hello, And all the time, every chance I get. I dream about you at night and when I go on walks at the dawn, I hear you say my name when I'm at the grocery store, You are never actually there. I hope I'm not the only one who's just so in love with you, So please, Say my name in your sleep. It's been a few months now, And oh, how the times have changed, I hope it's not my name you say in your sleep, That you don't think about me when you walk past my favourite ice cream place, Or when you smell my perfume on someone else, That you sleep well and I don't haunt your dreams like you did mine. I hope you don't have that aching hole in your heart anymore, because the hole in mine is closed, And so I wish, It's not my name you say in your sleep.

Say my name in your sleep.
Just something inspired by the song also titled "Say my name in your sleep" by Maisie Peters
