Hands wringing with sweat The toil of the day A sun unable to hold its head Settles down in orbital slumber Out comes the moon, with its grand, pallid face The glaze of traffic, the pulp of horns People clutching at steering wheels, or snoring on buses And for what? A paltry sum Squandered in a shred of the time it took to accrue it What a pity. How ****** are we.

Work
Hands wringing with sweat The toil of the day A sun unable to hold its head Settles down in orbital slumber Out comes the moon, with its grand, pallid face The glaze of traffic, the pulp of horns People clutching at steering wheels, or snoring on buses And for what? A paltry sum Squandered in a shred of the time it took to accrue it What a pity. How ****** are we.
Industry lays bear the most prevalent dichotomy of our society - as much economies and governments thrive on our diligence, taking a brief look at the average worker immediately spells out the collective enervation experienced by the public. Working for far too long, for far too little. And we are too far gone to change this. Work is a fundamental aspect of the typical adult lifestyle. It is heartening however that some sectors of authority have realised the detriment of continuous, laborious work and are encouraging different working patterns; inviting the use of counselling services. We must aim to prosper, industrialising while sympathising.
