I have a flame it has nearly died a thousand times because the world denies everything that doesn't fall in line with what is viewed as worthwhile too rowdy, too loud too dangerous, too weak and too proud Normal has a shape a box in which we should place our desire fire is celebrated only when it burns brightly within the values and judgements that surround us I have a heart that sees the world's many precious things I see the joy freedom brings but am yet again reminded of what should and shouldn't be you praise what in me is hollow and look away when I show how I am free Natural, normal and outstanding praise is raised for those that excel at creating beauty in accepted space dismissal is the only thing that awaits whatever part of your heart, your flame that the world has yet failed to chisel down Sure, you do you, that's cool a little weird but fine as long as you mind your own business I will mind mine but I notice what is lost when the world keeps on chiselling down the precious things around me the people that are free it saddens my heart to see beauty torn apart by normalcy My heart is like a flame it cannot be chiselled into a different shape it can't be limited by a box if you close the lid it goes away I can live without my flame but you can't take away the space my fire needs to claim and expect it to still burn To live with or without a flame? I have chosen to let my heart stay ABLAZE this page is made to celebrate those who refuse to let the world chisel away anymore of that beautiful shape your heart inside you makes.
