Like a fallen blood stained angel i float through the world My eyes ablaze with a purple aurora I can’t help my wondering mind I straighten my stance, a set of broken wings lie on my back I smile at humanity but humanity frowns right back I turn my face and in animals I find a familiar in the pack Through their eyes I find nature and pureness of the heart I close my eyes … I raise my head up high and within my skeleton I am reminded of a faint memory A memory of eden where I am angel of light I open them again to realize .. I am only a human burning into ash Longing for serenity, warmth and a light that would turn me into an angel of light I have never been a fallen angel a voice from within whispered light Only a fallen human yet to rise Passing through this universe and upon it are endless reminders of what will become Reminders that through Allah’s light A human can rise upon angels and light.
