They wait and wait Hoping someone  would  come Praying  someone  would  care They sit in despair  with their stories  untold When once they where young and now there old. There eyes, once was bright  with life and youthful  fire Now dimly they sparkle  with  a deep desire For human  touch, for gentle loving care For someone  to hear their tales, and show they're  still there. Their  days are filled with  silence  , broken  only by the sound of wheelchairs  gliding  up and down the  halls. They wait for footsteps and for a friendly  face For someone  to share their joys and wipe away their tears  off there face But  still they hold on to memories  of the past Of loved ones who've  gone and moments  that will forever  last They wait  and wait When  the day would  come They wont  be alone In this place , that they now call home .

THEY WAIT AND WAIT
Spend time with your loved ones . Every moment is unique.
