You left me standing alone, In the pouring rain, With nothing to bear But the cold, wet water rushing Down my face, Nothing to hold on to But the past. And now I see you, in your Most missable state, Watching your new love Act as if nothing is wrong, As you put on the biggest Fake smile that can be put, But the truth is you have no one, As you have nothing to Hold on to. So in the end, we, the destined ones Could never stay long enough To hold each other, To keep our broken hearts warm As the suns rays Shined on our heart. All I can say is it's too bad, Because words can never express The betrayal I feel when I see you, Or the old love I used to believe in.

What we weren't
