Terminal 2 This one’s for you This is the third plane I’ve drowned on Since this new life came I know inertia should help but as horizon bends and tarmac is pushed away beneath steel wings, All I think Is even through the darkness, desolation, I’d still drink your libation, Yeah cool for the best but what if not, I want your well, not another flat pint of Amstel Your words were tall, but shorter than your lies, To be fair wouldn’t be like you to wonder why, Turns out, life’s hard to come by You always wanted my words, so heres some, long overdue, as I implode in terminal 2, Sorry I couldn’t be there, love, in those last days, This one’s for you
