I found peace only in the graveyard, Where the sound of birds, the shining sun, The moving trees, and the dusty air Suddenly closed my eyes. Silence around me whispered The lessons of life. I found God in the graveyard, And fear touched my heart When I saw the graves. I felt the pain of those who had died; I listened to their silent answers. When I looked around, no one was there — Only I and my God remained. We should often visit the graveyard, For its quietness reminds us Of the presence of God.

Me and my God
I found peace only in the graveyard, Where the sound of birds, the shining sun, The moving trees, and the dusty air Suddenly closed my eyes. Silence around me whispered The lessons of life. I found God in the graveyard, And fear touched my heart When I saw the graves. I felt the pain of those who had died; I listened to their silent answers. When I looked around, no one was there — Only I and my God remained. We should often visit the graveyard, For its quietness reminds us Of the presence of God.
