In shadows deep where silence lies,   I wander lost, beneath gray skies.   Once laughter danced on lips so sweet,   Now echoes haunt my weary feet.   I guess this solitude has made me rude,   And those that were my friends came to an end.   In mirrored halls of dreams I brood,   For kindness fades, as hearts defend.   The moon bears witness to my plight,   A lonely figure in the night.   With every sigh, a whisper shared,   Yet here I stand, alone, ensnared.   So here I walk, a broken tune,   Among the stars, beneath the moon.   For in my heart, a stillness grows,   As time reveals what sorrow knows.

Solitude and loss
This is one I found while reading through one of my old spiral bound notebooks. I thought it was worth posting. I feel that I should state that it doesn't reflect my current state of mind. Thank God. ✌️
