When death finds you, may it find you alive. Feelings inside can never truly hide. You may push them down or shove them away, But the truth will come out one day. It may be day, it may be night — Don’t attempt to put up a fight. Darkness fails to fully consume; Light will slowly bloom, like swaying flowers in the month of June. What’s meant to be will always find its way, Don’t waste time pondering away. For flowers will always sway. Humans are plants — So gentle, yet strong. We spread our roots like notes flowing from a song. So don’t let the day fleet; Turn your life into something sweet. For everything comes to an end — Although, when death finds us, we’ll be alive again.

Alive in Death
