first date with someone who isn’t you. he’s kind, and he makes me laugh. i like him a lot, is what i’m thinking as i wash my hands during our first date i’m happy he’s sweet to me but the soap i’m washing my hands with right now smells so strongly and it smells like your hair just after you showered i lean in and inhale deeply my mind flashes back to when i used to do that to you deeply inhaling your scent and leaving quick kisses in your hair i realize im thinking of you without even trying you’re still burrowed so far into my heart. it’s just not fair it’s just not fair.
