A lazy stack of gray clouds from london
Hung somberly over white plains yesterday
After the rain,
And work...
As I walked on the damp sidewalk
Under a tree;
And I gathered my thoughts,
Grim and overdrawn,
Like my checking account on payday....

A bird dumped on me...
And I cried,
Like a MAN...
