I keep waking up in your arms, Even though you’re not here. The dream won’t stop replaying— Your lips, your lies, The way you said “forever” like it meant something. I try to scream myself awake But it just loops again— Your touch, my tears, your silence. I’m trapped in a version of us That never existed. Maybe I don’t want to wake up. Maybe pain feels safer than the emptiness Of knowing you’re gone.

The Dream That Never Ends
I keep waking up in your arms, Even though you’re not here. The dream won’t stop replaying— Your lips, your lies, The way you said “forever” like it meant something. I try to scream myself awake But it just loops again— Your touch, my tears, your silence. I’m trapped in a version of us That never existed. Maybe I don’t want to wake up. Maybe pain feels safer than the emptiness Of knowing you’re gone.
