The man alone could barely see A path before my eye But pushed me ahead instead of Feet; force flicked into existence. Miles and miles of distance Set us apart from What we both wanted. Clubs clean from rosy cheek, Tears streak in retreat from Trapped nerves, in fleet of escape. And running makes the distance wider As they melt into puddles.
