I bought a blue sweatshirt today. It’s the kind of blue that the sky looks like at noon, The one that heartache feels, And dreams die from. The kind of blue that romantics and astronomers only would know The one that stars envy Its heavy. I bought a blue sweatshirt today. It's the kind of blue that reminds me of you. Captivating yet haunting at the same time, Distant yet so near to shore. Only to vanish in the blink of an eye No where I sight Just like you. Your eyes so blue, I vanished too.
