It is easier
To simply remove everything of value
And fill the hollow space
With mental detritus.
There is nothing painful left
in that space.
It's all deliberate,
The dross, the drone, the sleb sludge,
Brain-bilge-water.
When I'm ready, I'll purge,
And make the hollow ready,
For a healthier obsession.
